  1. Human remains found near Clear Creek Canyon. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s recovery team was in the area of tunnel 2 on Highway 6 investigating the remains on Sunday. The sheriff’s office indicated that the remains were found in a remote location and that hikers had discovered the body. (9News)
  2. CSU Rams basketball team scores slot in national basketball championship. The CSU men’s basketball team earned a sixth seed bid, their first appearance in March Madness since 2013. (CPR)
  3. Auto Theft suspects are repeat offenders. In 2021, there were almost 37,000 vehicles stolen in Colorado, and so far this year, the state is on pace to exceed that number. According to officials, 97 percent of those arrested in the last three years for auto theft have had multiple arrests for auto theft. (9News)
  4. Seven weekend shootings leave seven wounded, one dead. Multiple Denver-area police departments are investigating shootings at seven separate locations that left seven people wounded and one dead. (7News)

  • Celebrate Earth Day by getting involved with your local park, Bear Creek Lake Park! Each year, volunteers assist staff with a project to help keep the park clean and beautiful.
