Billy Bob Thornton’s son has had his say on Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly – and he thinks they’re copying his dad and Angelina Jolie.
Harry James Thornton, 27, who stars in Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules, spoke out on the antics of the newly engaged couple, which have closely mirrored that of his dad and Angelina back in the day.
Angelina and Billy Bob were the first stars to publicly wear vials of each other’s blood on necklaces, something which Megan and MGK have since imitated.
Appearing in a video for Page Six, Harry said of the couple: ‘Oh they’re copycats! I mean yeah, [dad] is setting trends, I think that’s awesome.’
Addressing the general ‘wearing someone else’s blood around your neck’ trend, Harry, who was a kid when Billy Bob and Angelina were together, admitted: ‘I just thought it was a necklace.
‘Now… I think it’s gross to have someone’s DNA wrapped around your neck all day. It’s definitely interesting.’
Harry also revealed he doesn’t know what actually happened to the original blood vial necklaces after Angelina and Billy Bob were done with them either.
MGK, 31, and Megan’s, 35, engagement has raised eyebrows after the singer revealed in an interview that he had designed her ring with thorns so it would ‘hurt’ if she took it off.
He explained to Vogue: ‘The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart.
‘And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts… Love is pain!’
