Obituary
Daniel John Guerrero, age 65, died at Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, Colorado on January 25, 2022. Angels surrounded him and took him home to Heaven.
Our dear Danny was born May 23, 1956 in LaJunta, Colorado. He moved to Aurora, Colorado in 1979 with his lovely wife Joni Guerrero. Family was a top priority in his life and Danny loved spending quality time with them.
He worked for the Federal Government over 30 years, until his retirement in 2008. Dan’s passion was refereeing and umpiring for the state of Colorado and he enjoyed interacting with athletes. He received many awards, certificates, and commendations throughout his career.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Joni, two children Jennifer and Zachary Guerrero, five grandchildren: Neveah, Kambrie, Xavier, Alyssa and Xander, all of Aurora, Colorado. Across the United States are, six sisters, three brothers, a host of nieces and nephews, and a multitude of cousins. He is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Pauline and Ernest Guerrero.
A Viewing and Funeral Mass for Daniel will take place on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10:00am at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Aurora, Colorado. A reception will follow. Daniel will be laid to rest at Saint Simeon Catholic Cemetery on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 1:30pm.
