Dixie Kay Heiberg, age 78, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Holbrook Health Care Center in Buckhannon.
She was born August 9, 1943, in Niagra, NY, a daughter of the late Lloyd Ray and Eleanor Lee Stiles Ordiway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Heiberg.
Surviving are four nieces, Debra Lynn Dillow and husband Walter and Patricia Stuney and husband Leroy all of Buckhannon and Cynthia Raines and Eleanor Maharry both of LA; two great nephews, Shannon Dillow of Littlestown, PA and Daniel Dillow and wife Casey of NC; three great nieces, Stephanie Meo and Angela Bustos both of Colorado Springs, CO and Melanie Raines of LA; one brother, Clipper Zane Ordiway of Fairbanks, AK and one sister, Pamela Kay Robinson of TX.
Mrs. Heiberg was a factory worker and loved quilting, crocheting, sewing and embroidering.
In honoring Mrs. Heiberg’s wishes she will be cremated. Friends will be received for a memorial gathering Friday, February 11, 2022, from 4 to 6 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home.
