The Real Housewives of Potomac OG cast member Katie Rost left the series as a regular cast member following one season but came back as a friend of the show multiple times. While the model hasn’t appeared since 2019, Rost teased a possible return to RHOP for season 7 by posting a picture with newcomer Mia Thornton.
Katie Rost might return to ‘RHOP’ for season 7
OG housewife Katie Rost, 41, hasn’t appeared on The Real Housewives of Potomac since season 4, in which she came back as a “friend of the show.”
The international model has largely remained out of the Bravo community following her 2019 exit but returned on March 31, 2022, by reposting a Bravo fan account meme from Potomac, Maryland. She also posted an old photo of her and someone else holding flowers, also tagged in Potomac.

Rost captioned the last image, “Man, it’s good to be home. It smells good, baby.” The next day, the model, who now sports a shaved look, uploaded a short video of her in a car, followed by multiple pictures with newcomer Mia Thornton. Captioning it, “when I meet someone, I lick them,” she shared three posts of the two posing next to each other, some with their tongues out, in front of a restaurant where the production crew and camera operators are standing.
She then seemed to tease upcoming tension in another picture uploaded a day after meeting Thornton as she captioned it, “Remember that time I came home and caused no drama, yeah me either. An actor acts.” It’s unclear if Rost will actually appear in RHOP Season 7 or if she only met up with the cast off-screen.
Rost has claimed Bravo fired her from ‘RHOP’
Born and raised in Potomac to a wealthy family, the aspiring model moved to New York to follow her dreams. In 2009, invited by Vogue Magazine’s editor Anna Wintour, she joined The Vogue 100 List before marrying her college sweetheart, James Orsini.
The couple welcomed a son and then a pair of twins two years later, but their relationship didn’t work out, resulting in Rost relocating back to Potomac to raise her children as a single mother of three.
She then met investment executive Andrew Martin, and the two got engaged before parting ways. In 2019, the last time viewers followed her journey, she began a relationship with a man named Jesse, and he proposed to her after five months of dating.
Rost originally debuted on RHOP as an original cast member in 2016 but was quickly fired as a regular cast member after one season. The model has claimed Bravo fired her because they didn’t deem her storyline “exciting” enough in a now-deleted tweet, but the network never confirmed it.

She returned as a guest in season 2, didn’t appear in season 3, but returned for season 4, which was believed to be her last, as a friend of the show.
Rost attended several trips with the other cast members, including the Gizelle Bryant-hosted New Orleans vacation, and held the memorable hoedown at her farm. During season 4, the central drama surrounded Ashley Darby’s husband, Michael, and allegations that he assaulted a cameraman.
She weighed in on the drama, claiming that Michael previously flirted with her then-boyfriend, Jacob.
The Potomac native then tried to call Bravo out on Twitter before claiming she couldn’t discuss everything due to the network firing her. While the model did make an appearance during the season 4 reunion, she hasn’t appeared in seasons five or six. The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Bravo.
